F**k, sending her to this school was basically the icing on the cake of complete idiocy that her parents had created over the years; why they would just send her somewhere without even checking the place was so random and sh*t-a** crazy. But then Kaydẽn remembered. Oh right, her parents were crazy; they had been even before she was born. Now they were just more crazy. Kaydẽn sighed quietly. She lit the cigarette placed lightly between her lips and slipped the lighter back into her pocket before taking hold of the nicotine stick with her fingers, letting the smoke sift out through her lips. The air was thick for a brief moment but soon the smoke became a transparent cloud, clinging to Kaydẽn almost like shadows did.
Cars were coming and going at the front gate but Kaydẽn barely gave them a glance; standing a few feet away from the main hustle and bustle of arriving students, Kaydẽn stood against the wall nonchalantly, her head leant back on the stone gently. Holding the cigarette in her fingers lightly, Kaydẽn routinely put the cigarette to her lips and inhaled slightly, before letting a cloud of smoke sift out through her lips softly. She ran the fingers of her other hand through her black hair, ignoring the pieces of hair that fell into her face. The midnight-black strands were forever messy and nothing Kaydẽn did ever changed that fact, so she had long given up with trying to keep it neat. It was quite helpful sometimes, especially since it hid her face.
Tilting her head, Kaydẽn brushed off a piece of ash that had fallen onto her jacket. Clothes with Kaydẽn were simple, straight-forward, generally practical and always black. Her long-sleeved shirt, fitting jeans, tennis shoes and hoodie were strange, a stark contrast to the outfits that the other students displayed as they arrived at the school. Kaydẽn placed the cigarette to her lips again, glancing up towards the main gate as yet another limousine came to a stand-still in the spacious driveway. Her dark hazel eyes were calm, relaxed while the black eyeliner and the red-and-black shadowing that surrounded her eyes off-set her pale face.
Kaydẽn shifted her standing position slightly, but her back still rested against the dark grey stone of the school wall. A sudden feeling that she was being watched settled on Kaydẽn. She tilted her head to the side slightly, moving her gaze away from the main gate and back to the vivid green scenery encompassing the areas around the school. "Staring at me isn't going to do anything," Kaydẽn commented, smirking slightly before placing the cigarette to her lips again.
